UD Writing Center has moved online!
The University Writing Center will be open for summer tutoring June 8th to August 14th.
We will hold all our appointments online until the university advises that it is safe for us to return to face-to-face operations. Students will be able to choose from two different virtual tutoring formats: real-time online tutoring or asynchronous etutoring. Which is the right one for you? Read about your options on our Writing Center Services page.
The Writing
Center is a place where all members of the UD community can come to write and
to talk, think and learn about writing.
At two locations, 016
Memorial Hall and 017 Morris Library, the Writing Center fosters excellence in
writing through:
- One-to-one
writing tutorials for undergraduates and graduate students
- One-to-one
oral communications tutorials for students preparing speeches or oral
presentations
- Support
for graduate student writing through our dissertation boot camps and
Dissertate Write Now! program
- Writing
fellows for faculty who promote writing in their classrooms
- An
ongoing workshop series on a variety of topics pertaining to writing
Perhaps best of all; all
Writing Center services are free.
No matter who you are,
we believe the Writing Centers have something to offer you. We invite you to
make use of what we think is an invaluable resource at UD.
